Just Another Hole in the Wall

Has this ever happened to you or someone you know?  “Dog Shaming” has gone viral recently and while a lot of these images range from funny to just down right unbelievable, it is good to know that you are not the only one who has a dog with a mind of their own sometimes.  Maybe your dog shaming moment happened while you were gone for just an hour too long or perhaps your dog is just as sneaky as mine and can destroy things is 5 seconds flat. Either way, when it comes to dogs, silence is not golden. Silence means they are most likely up to something naughty.  Or sleeping. It’s about a fifty-fifty chance.

My own dog did something similar in our first apartment as a puppy. The corner of the wall was no match for his sharp puppy teeth and he was determined to forever leave his mark on the apartment before we moved. The damage he did was not nearly to the extent in this picture but we were able to mend it with some dry wall putty and a good coat of paint.  The apartment manager never even knew and Bandit began his love for ripping things to shreds! We have yet to find a toy that he cannot demolish. A friend of mine once refered to him as part dog, part gator. Luckily, we have moved past that stage and the sticks in the yard suffice his urges to shred… most of the time.

But in a home of your own a mistake like this could end up costing you a pretty penny and you should probably think about getting Fido some more toys to distract him from the walls. If something like this does happen to you, it can be fixed in no time by Lubbock Kitchen remodeling company. They cover a multitude of remodeling projects in the lubbock area from bathrooms to kitchens, even partially destroyed walls! They can patch up a wall like this with ease, giving you more time to play with your dog and avoid situations like this again. You might even take this “opportune” hole in the wall to finally knock it down and create that open flooring concept you have always wanted! Lubbock kitchen and bathroom remodeling company can help you with that as well. (Now just to convince your husband that it’s worth it)  Maybe you should go ahead and throw Fido a treat for giving you a push in the right direction, huh?

Hopefully you never have to deal with dog shaming on this scale but it sure is a fun distraction to look up these moments when you need to feel better about your own dog or to brighten up your day! Remember, it could always be worse, so be thankful for the awesome dog you have. Take them on a walk, go pick out a new toy, or just give ’em a good ole belly rub today!
