barking dog ecourse

I appreciate all the helpful tips you have provided. I have tried a couple of them. The one thing that concerns me is not being able to give Queen enough exercise. My husband and I are in our middle/late 60s and neither of us can walk and we have no one to help us by walking Queen. We do toss her a ball for several minutes a day and she gets some running in that way. She is a very smart dog and has responded to everything we ask of her - not for treats but simply a pat and a "good girl." Thank you for all the ideas given.

A great course

I'd recommend it to anyone.

Both Dogs Bark Less

Thanks to Aidan's great tips and advises on correcting both my miniature schnauzers' nuisance barking behaviour. I understand that it is normal for dogs to bark. But both my schnauzers were truly small sized dog with a ' big' voice! They scared other dogs and dog owners away just mile before they are able to reach them, thus make socializing my dogs a more difficult task to achieve. Luckily Aidan has given me some tips onto correcting my dog's nuisance barking, lots of training tips that my dogs have both shown great improvement. It is more fun to bring them for a walk nowadays.
My dogs also enjoyed some of those innovative games that Aidan has suggested, which were very handy and easy to prepared, as for the dogs, ultimately they enjoyed them because the ultimately there would be some good rewards in return--->food.
Once again, thank you so much Aidan for having to put so much effort into helping me and my dogs. Looking forward for more training tips and games for my dogs.

Rgds,

Pauline

A Polish Lowland Sheepdog Speaks Out

Dear Mr. Aiden,

This is Lacey, and my human mom has given me permission to write to you. I just wanted to let you know what has been going on. My mom can't always spend as much active time with me and my pack mates because of her health, but she's really been trying harder since she's been hearing from you. I'm a Polish Lowland Sheepdog, and we are all known for our barking. But, mom says I just can't bark all the time ... just because. So, she's been spending a lot more time with me just playing (I LOVE to fetch!) We can do this outside, or in the house on rainy days, and I just love it. Since we've been doing it everyday, I've stopped barking so much just to get her attention. So far, I've only barked because someone came into our driveway over the past week.

Mom used to be a Obedience, Conformation and Clicker trainer before she got sick and she really misses it. Now she feels she is back into it, helping me not to bark. She says soon we are going to start on the bark and no bark on command. I love doing things to make her happy, I love treats and I LOVE the clicker, So, thank you for reminding her of all the things that can make me bark and that I'm doing it because I really need her to play with me or give me something to do. We do go to the dog park sometimes and I love it there...there's no time to bark because there's so much to smell :-)

Thanks for helping me and my mom.

Woofs,
Lacey (aka AKC CH Swancrest Legend and Legacy)
PS: I'm 4 1/2 now and retired from showing. That used to keep me pretty busy.
