Positive PetzineOur Poodle puppy is a chewing machine
We have a poodle pup who chews which is to expected. She chews on our feet as we watch TV, she chews as we walk outside. She chases my feet as we walk. While we are watching TV she chews on feet, faces and necks even faces. Is it to soon for a water spray bottle?

Interrupt and redirect
Water spray can work, but then what?
Effective punishment works, but it doesn't provide a preferred option. Why do pups chew? What will they do instead?
It's far better to interrupt and redirect. Begin training now, and give pup some alternatives. You don't need a water spray to do this and you'll be better off without one. Sign up for the e-course Secrets of Positive Dog Training for Real Results for more information.
