Only when we are asleep!

Hi.
We have a 7month Jack Russel. He is our companion at all times and he normally behaves well for being a puppy. However, we have a terrible problem with him at nights when he will go in our room and do his needs in our carpet. It is a one space apartment so we have no doors. We have tried everything but he will not stop. What are we doing wrong? Anybody has an advice?

Crate train him using the

Crate train him using the instructions found here:
http://www.dragonflyllama.com in the Training Levels.

Then crate him at night. Even if he is otherwise well-trained, he has learned to go in your room at night. Crating is an instant fix.

I recommend http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/doghousebreaking/ for more in-depth house-training discussion.
