I have seen so much contrariness in my professional life in animals, I have also seen a push for change in many areas. "It's about time!" I've heard, but over 40 years there are still the same conflicts! Force and that 'get it over with', 'nip it in the bud' thinking, or on the other side 'Communicate'! I think as long as humans are humans this conflict will continue on. I have no preconceived notions that I will change everyone I train.
The Human Race has a mirror, it is the Dog, we use Dogs to show who we are, what we look like, how we treat other humans and what we need for making us feel good. From abuse and neglect to matching dress and carry-on bag! It all Amazes me, and keeps me riveted to the on going saga.
